IMI Concrete surfaces

Imi-beton is a board material that looks just like concrete and has many creative applications.

Imi-beton is a flexible, 1 mm layer of mineral composite material based on natural marble sand. Normally the composite is applied to MDF board.
The Imi-beton composite can also be applied to other core materials, e.g. fire-retardant MDF board and plywood.

The boards are available in a variety of structures:
- formwork look
- slate look
- brickwork look
- smooth concrete look with natural air holes

The Imi-beton surface is fire-retardant and IMO certified, and thus ideal for shipbuilding applications.

The benefits:
- flexible
- lightweight
- biodegradable
- strong with a natural surface structure
- can be processed using the same machinery as any other type of wooden board
- easy to grout, seal or paint
- solid coloured
- available from stock

Imi-beton boards are available in standard size 2,600 x 1,010 mm, and can be manufactured on request in sizes up to 3,400 x 1,300 mm.
